DESCRIPTION:Our annual music partnerships project culminates in a Town Hall performance of Alex l’Estrange’s joyous community work, Ahoy!, featuring over 300 primary school children accompanied by an SATB choir and jazz folk band from Magdalen College School and Headington School. This represents a year’s worth of partnerships, where our Lower Sixth pupils have been visiting local primary schools each week to teach the music to Year 5 and 6 pupils. Ahoy! is a sequence of choral arrangements of songs from the time of King Henry VIII, sea shanties plus an original song by L’Estrange, Full Fathom Five.\n
