DESCRIPTION:The painting of Benedict Lovering\nBenedict is a painter, artist and educator. His paintings are studies of colour and light inspired by the everyday life he finds around him. He studied Illustration at Falmouth University and UAL. Having worked as an illustrator, Benedict went on to study classical drawing and painting techniques, including plein-air painting, at London Fine Art Studios. The artist continues to teach, learn, and be inspired by recreating the subtle effects of light, atmosphere, and colour on the subject.\nThe paintings will be exhibited throughout the Oxford Festival of the Arts programme held in the Festival Hall, when it is open for events.\n
