Elaine Kazimierczuk has been fascinated and moved by the natural world from an early age. She paints everything from woodlands and hedgerows to wildflower meadows and deserts.
Here she describes her early years in Nottinghamshire and family visits to woods and open fields where she first started to become captivated by natural habitats.
As an artist, she describes herself as a ‘late starter who is really going for it now’!
Elaine says that nature is so important to her that painting has become her language and her way of telling others how she feels about these beautiful habitats in the hope that they too will want to cherish our natural world.
