Look a Little Closer – The North Wall’s Camera Club

Oxford Festival of the Arts is delighted to collaborate with Photo Oxford and welcome back The North Wall’s Camera Club to this year’s festival. Look a Little Closer is this year’s YouthLab photography project that brought together a group of young photographers aged 12-17 to create work and curate a show with the artist Elina Medley.  Inspired by The Hidden Power of the Archive, they worked in the studio and in the streets of Oxford to develop skills in photography, image making and curation, looking through their digital records to create work that echoed their online stories whilst capturing those moments in real life that are so easily overlooked, and often undiscovered.
