Sharon Bolton in conversation with Helen Pike

Her latest book, The Pact, is set in a prestigious, independent Oxford school and sees six young friends dealing with the life-long consequences of a reckless, drug-fuelled mistake.

Sharon will be in conversation with the Master of Magdalen College School, Helen Pike, but insists that any similarities between her fictional school and MCS are entirely superficial.

The Pact is shortlisted for the CWA Ian Fleming steel dagger for the best thriller of 2021. Sharon has previously won Amazon UK’s Best New Read, the 2010 Mary Higgins Clark award and the CWA Dagger in the Library.
