Say it in 60 seconds
Entries have now closed for our ‘Say it in 60 seconds’ project. We are delighted to have received so many exciting entries and all so different in style. Our expert panel will have a tough job to select their favourites. Once the decisions have been made we will announce our winners on social media and here on the website.
The chosen pieces will be played by renowned trumpeter Brendan Ball and filmed by our professional film maker Roberto Umaña.
Brendan began studying trumpet after winning a scholarship to Chetham’s School of Music and whilst there was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year. He went on to become a Foundation Scholar at the Royal College of Music. Brendan has played with many leading orchestras, opera, and dance companies in the UK and Europe.
He has performed all the major concertos and is an internationally regarded recitalist. His output in the recording industry is equally prodigious. Brendan joined the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017.
Our filmmaker is Roberto Umaña, an experienced producer who has worked extensively on live and digital performances.
