Dates for OFA 2024 announced and competition winner congratulated.
This year we saw unprecedented numbers attending Oxford Festival of the Arts 2023, with many events selling out. We are delighted to reveal that the main dates for next year’s festival have been confirmed as 27 June – 14 July 2024. Watch this space for other exhibitions to be announced for Trinity term!
On a final note from this year’s festival, we are pleased to share with you the winning entry from the 2023 Creative Writing Competition for primary school children. Over 500 pupils from local schools enjoyed an interactive virtual workshop with the best-selling author and illustrator, Chris White, who set the challenge to design a cartoon comic strip on the theme of ‘An Epic Journey’.
Although it was difficult to choose a favourite story from the entries we received, congratulations go to Louis, aged 9, who received a £25 Blackwell’s gift token as his prize!
