The Merry Wives of Windsor

The 1990s: Cool Britannia, the Spice Girls and Oasis – and Sir John Falstaff. In need of some ready cash, Falstaff sends identical love letters to two wealthy wives, Mistresses Ford and Page: they share the news with each other and decide to outwit him instead. Add in a jealous husband, a daughter with three different suitors, a neighbourhood gossip – and the stage is set for some superb suburban squabbling in this modern version of the play.
