The Phoenix – send us your artistic responses
Today OFA launches a new arts project in collaboration with Oxfordshire Artweeks.
We invite you to send us your artistic responses on the theme of The Phoenix, rebirth and resurgence. As the world slowly emerges from lockdown and the arts begin a period of renewed activity, we want to know what it means to you and how it prompts you to respond creatively.
We can accept any medium as long as your entry can be sent to us in a digital format (please see the details below). You might choose one of the visual arts, composition or creative writing, it may be a dance piece or perhaps a song.
Entries will be displayed in an online gallery hosted by Oxfordshire Artweeks. We really look forward to seeing your artistic reactions to our theme. So get creative!
Entry details
The Phoenix project is open to everyone with no restrictions
Entries must be in the form of still images (maximum 5MB) or video (maximum 2 minutes)
Send your entry, with your name and the area you live in to info@artsfestivaloxford.org with The Phoenix in the subject box. Please include your age if you are under 18 as we will have an exclusive section in the gallery for our younger entrants
The closing date is Sunday 11 July 2021
Entries will be on display from late July
